THE GREAT HALL
The first thing your guests may notice is the ceiling. The second is how easily they settle in. Beneath soaring wood beams and wrought-iron chandeliers, The Great Hall brings everyone together for dinner, toasts, and dancing. Expansive windows frame the Mistwood fairways, while rich wood and stone details give the room character long before the first centerpiece arrives. With seating for up to 225 guests, there's room for the celebration you've been imagining and all the people you want there to share it.

You don't have to look far to find a beautiful backdrop at Mistwood. Across the property, rolling fairways, a sprawling lake, stone bridges, and Scottish-inspired sod-wall bunkers create a landscape that feels completely different from a traditional wedding venue. Whether you're taking portraits around the grounds or enjoying the scenery from the courtyard and veranda, the golf course becomes part of your celebration. And as the afternoon light gives way to sunset, those same views take on an entirely different look. THE TERRACE ROOM
The Terrace Room at Mistwood Golf Club brings guests together in a bright, intimate space overlooking the golf course. Floor-to-ceiling windows, mahogany Chiavari chairs, and complimentary centerpieces create a welcoming setting for weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, corporate meetings, and social events. For couples celebrating at Mistwood, the Terrace Room is where your cocktail hour takes place, giving guests a beautiful place to mingle before the reception. The room seats up to 40 guests or accommodates up to 50 for cocktail-style gatherings, with a private outdoor terrace for fresh air and scenic views. Built-in TVs, AV capabilities, and optional foyer bar access add flexibility for business presentations, networking, private dinners, and other gatherings.

02 WHAT IS A MICRO WEDDING, AND WHICH MISTWOOD SPACE FITS IT?
A Setting for Your Closest People
A micro wedding usually means around 50 guests or fewer. Our Terrace Room seats up to 40 guests and accommodates up to 50 for a cocktail-style gathering, with natural light and a comfortable setting for smaller receptions. If your guest list or plans call for more room, the Great Hall is another option. Our team can help you choose a layout that feels right.

You can also plan portraits on approved areas of the grounds near the clubhouse, including the cobblestone path and bridge. Ask our team how ceremony and photo access would work with your event.

Mistwood's in-house culinary team prepares dining in its scratch kitchen, while our events team can explain the reception and beverage options that suit your guest count. You can keep the parts of a wedding you love without planning around a packed ballroom.

I had my wedding at Mistwood in May 2025 and am so happy we went with there for our wedding venue. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Taylor. She is the best! She is so kind, helpful & quick to respond to all questions. Our rehearsal dinner and wedding overall went smoothly. There were a couple issues that I had spoke to Taylor about after the wedding and were handled appropriately. I would recommend Mistwood Golf Club to anyone getting married.
Our daughter had her wedding ceremony and reception here July of 2025 and it was spectacular. Our guests felt we spared no expense, but the cost was very reasonable and a great value to comparable venues. We added the draping with lights which added to the romantic ambiance. The food was amazing (the salmon was some of the best we have had anywhere) and they worked with us to specialize our package. Their tasting ahead of time allows you to sample everything on the wedding menu. Audra and Taylor and team are incredible! Highly recommend this venue.
As a wedding photographer, I may be slightly obsessed with this country club… and honestly, I’m pretty sure the staff is obsessed with me too (I’m there so often they know me by name and treat me like family!). Between the rolling hills, charming stone bridges, and swoon-worthy arched doorways, every corner is basically begging to be in a photo. And the bar? Cozy, moody, and straight-up Scottish—perfect for capturing those “I’m fancy but also relaxed” cocktail moments.
The outdoor spaces are endless for portraits, first looks, or just me sneaking a few creative shots while no one’s looking. And if Mother Nature decides to rain on our parade, the covered areas are equally stunning—no stress, just more photo ops.
Basically, if you’re looking for a venue that’s ridiculously photogenic, full of charm, and will make you feel like part of the family (bonus: me included), this country club is a total win. Your photos—and your photographer—will thank you.
This review is long overdue so where do I begin...
I got married here on September 21, 2024 and planned this wedding in 6 months. We attended a wedding here as guests and enjoyed ourselves so much that we looked here for our own wedding. Although wedding planning in that short of a timeframe was stressful, Taylor did not contribute to it. She helped this process so much and it was so helpful that Mistwood included so much in their venue. I loved how beautiful the grounds were so we didn't need to go somewhere else for pictures. The garden for the ceremony was so beautiful that we didn't need to add any decor out there and it was so gorgeous in the photos.
We had 122 guests and Taylor helped me design a layout that made you feel like the grand ballroom was always made to fit that amount of people. The food was amazing and people still rave about how they've never been to a wedding where the steak was so good. I'm gluten and dairy free and chef Ben made sure that my food tasted exquisite.
I'd recommend this venue over and over again. I even have a family friend getting married there thanks to my referral in November 2025! We visited the restaurant onsite for our 1 year anniversary and it was so special to walk the grounds again and reminisce on a perfect day.
